Description: As the sun rises off the Atlantic Ocean, we'll head off to the beaches where shorebirds dart in and out of the waves. We shall encounter some of the resident populations of Cormorants, Herons, Egrets, and a host of other birds. There may be opportunities to photograph the fabled Chincoteague Ponies and Sika Deer that inhabit the island. We will also photograph ocean views, beach scenes, patterns and textures in the sand, marshes and plant life.
The workshop will include presentations that will inspire and help you make those stunning photographs. Technical as well as creative aspects of photography will be covered. The classroom sessions will include post-processing tips and a constructive critique of your work.
