Description: Water Lilies and Lotus take center stage at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens each summer. We will experiment with various techniques and creative choices that can be made when photographing these beautiful flowers. There will also be plenty of opportunities to photograph Dragonflies, Damselflies, Bees, and several other insects. Photographing insects can be challenging and fun. We may also find a Heron or Egret catching the large fish that inhabit the ponds.
The close focusing capabilities of a macro lens will be useful but you will need a longer lens (300mm) for greater working distance. There will be no classroom presentations. All the time will be spent in the field.
Please contact Nikhil if you have any questions about any of the workshops listed above.
