Explore the Southwest Like Never Before – A Unique Landscape Photography Adventure

Join us for an unforgettable landscape photography workshop designed for a small, intimate group of just 6 photographers—giving you plenty of one-on-one guidance and the flexibility to chase the best light and moments.

We begin our journey in Moab, photographing some of the area’s iconic landscapes before venturing into the less-traveled terrain near Hanksville. Unlike the typical photo tour, we’ll focus on hidden gems outside the national parks—remote locations that offer dramatic, otherworldly scenery with far fewer crowds. This gives you the opportunity to craft a truly unique and personal portfolio, standing apart from the usual postcard shots.

Led by photographer and visual storyteller Nikhil Bahl, you’ll go beyond just composition. You’ll gain insights into the art and craft of landscape photography—from mastering light and refining your vision to making the most of whatever nature presents. Expect to leave with a collection of compelling images, fresh creative approaches, and a renewed passion for your photography.

We’ll be shooting during the golden hours—early mornings and late evenings—to capture the landscape in its most magical light. During the afternoons, we’ll hold short image review sessions to help you refine your work and get constructive feedback while still maximizing time in the field.

This workshop is best suited for photographers who are comfortable with some light hiking (up to 1 mile) while carrying gear. Most locations will have options closer to the vehicle, but some of the best shots will reward those willing to explore on foot over uneven terrain. We’ll use a 4x4 SUV to reach some of these remote and dramatic vistas.

What to Bring
To get the most out of this adventure, we recommend bringing lenses ranging from 14mm to 400mm (full-frame equivalent) and a sturdy tripod. A complete packing and gear list will be provided to help you prepare.
